Circul8 Lite

Circul8 lite is a lightweight, portable device that is
designed to prevent a DVT or deep vein thrombosis.

Lightweight, Portable Take Home Device

Circul8 Lite is intended to be an easy to use sequential compression system, prescribed by a physician, for use in the
home or clinical setting to help prevent the onset of DVT in patients by stimulating blood flow in the extremities
(simulating muscle contractions).

DVT is a blood clot that forms in a vein in the body

Most deep vein blood clots occur in the lower leg or thigh. They also can occur in other parts of the body. A blood clot in a deep vein can break off and travel through the bloodstream. The loose clot is called an embolus (EM-bo-lus). It can travel to an artery in the lungs and block blood flow. This condition is called pulmonary embolism (PULL-mun-ary Em-bo-lizm), or PE. PE is a very serious condition. It can damage the lungs and other organs in the body and cause death.

Take home DVT prevention Device instructions:

What is Circul8 Lite and how often should I wear this?
The Circul8 Lite device helps to increase circulation during periods of inactivity following your surgery to prevent DVT (Deep vein thrombosis), commonly known as a blood clot. It is recommended that you use the device whenever you are off your feet during your recovery period including when you are sleeping at night. This device is yours to keep. Provided your physician feels you are a good candidate for ongoing use, this device can be great for anything that would involve you to be non-ambulatory for an extended period of time, such as long road or air trips.
How do I use Circul8 Lite?
Each wrap is universal and can be worn on the right or left leg. It is important to use both wraps, even if you had surgery on just one leg. Attach the wrap to your leg below the knee with the inflation bladder on the back. When the wrap inflates, you should feel the pressure on your calf muscle (back of lower leg). Once the wraps are in place, push and hold the red power button to begin therapy. There are three gauges on the device. The digital gauges next to the power button are the pressure indicator (shows how much pressure the device is currently exerting) and the compliance module (shows how many hours the device has been in use).
When do I need to charge the device?
The device will stay charged for approximately 8-10 hours. When the unit needs to be charged, plug both devices into the charging port that is in your box. The device can be used while charging.
The device is beeping. What should I do?
Check the screens next to the power button. This will show either an E1 or E2 error code. If the code reads E2, this is the low battery alarm. Please recharge the device with included charging cable. If the code reads E1, please turn the device off, tighten or loosen the wrap around your lower leg and try again. If it continues to read E1, please call Precision Medical Products at 888-963-6265 for assistance.
